Tanya graduated in 1996 from Sutherland-Chan Massage therapy School in Toronto and she is a registered member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapy of Newfoundland & Labrador (CMTNL).
Tanya has a strong passion to help people with their pain, stress, and injuries and has used her expertise with Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, and Relaxation Techniques in a variety of Settings, Including The King Edward Hotel, The Lawn and Tennis Club, and Novo Spa in Toronto.
Over the years, she has worked with a number of athletes, including avid tennis players, a few Professional Sports Celebrities, and a number of National Ballet Dancers. She has helped people in all industries, from Nurses and Artists to highly stressed Lawyers and Bankers. She is well versed with Pregnancy Massage as well. She treats every client as an individual who needs their own specific treatment plan.
More recently she has brought relief to clients in Newfoundland and is very excited to be in St. John’s, which she regards as one of the most beautiful cities she has ever visited. She is also excited to be bringing Cupping and Gua Sha to her practice in the near future.

Karen Heffernan MLA (Medical Lab Assistant) Karen finished her Phlebotomy program in 1990. Upon completion, she gained employment with The Grace General Hospital. After the closure of the Grace she went to work for Eastern Health. While working at Eastern Health, Karen gained her certification with CSMLS (Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science), extensive work experience at all of Eastern Health sites including the Janeway, and Waterford. Before retiring with Eastern Health, Karen was Team Lead at the St. Clare’s site. She enjoyed having the responsibility of a team, and furthering her education when opportunity arose.
